Job Description

· Accurately process and reconcile daily cash, card, and bank transactions

· Maintain and balance petty cash and cash floats

· Prepare daily banking and ensure timely deposits

· Post receipts and payments into the accounting system

· Assist with month-end cash reconciliations and reporting

· Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding payment queries

· Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

· Previous experience in a cashiering or accounts assistant role

· Strong numerical and reconciliation skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
