Job Description

  • This position sits within the Finance Business Partnering team, with a primary focus on supporting the operational and reporting needs of the Group.
  • Accountable for financial accounting and reporting activities, including the preparation of monthly management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, insightful commentary and analysis, cash accounting tasks, and project-related initiatives.
  • Contributing to broader Finance department responsibilities, such as the preparation and review of statutory accounts and VAT reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the delivery of the Finance team's reporting objectives.
  • Prepare monthly management report inputs, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations for designated areas, including services and contractual income.
  • Compile weekly Cash Committee reports and initiate payment setups within the banking system.
  • Participate in the budgeting cycle by analysing budget variances for assigned areas and submitting relevant data to the modelling team.
  • Produce quarterly tax forecasts for your areas of responsibility.
  • Perform VAT return reconciliations against the finance system.
  • Support statutory reporting through the preparation and review of individual accounts, collaborating with auditors, the taxation team, company secretariat, and senior management to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Provide key support to the Director of Finance - Reporting, contributing to the scoping, development, and preparation of various executive and non-executive level reports.

The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • An interest and passion for the property industry.
  • Experience or knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude towards problem-solving and collaboration.
