Job Description

As the Assistant Management Accountant you'll play a key role in the monthly management accounts process - preparing journals, reconciling balance sheets, supporting board reporting, and contributing to budgeting and VAT submissions. You'll also be part of year-end processes, liaise with external auditors, and support the wider finance leadership team with insightful financial analysis and project-based work.

Expect a broad role that gives you genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and the inner workings of a multi-entity business group - ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience while being supported in their professional development.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience preparing management accounts
  • Confident with Excel and accounting systems (Sage Line 50 a plus)
  • Comfortable working across multiple entities and intercompany reconciliations
  • Naturally organised, detail-oriented and proactive with deadlines
