If you want to make a visible impact and be empowered to excel, this is the place for youJob DescriptionThe Cost Controller role within this large global business owns the financial steering of multi-million-pound projects, ensuring budgets, forecasts and cost controls are spot on from kickoff right through to final margin analysis.You'll be the go-to expert for clear cost insights that keep every project on track and on budget.In this role you will:Own budget setup, updates and forecasting, aligning costs with revenue streamsAnalyse performance variances against As Sold and Control budgets, turning data into actionable plansReconcile forecasts with actuals, post accruals and manage unbilled revenueLead change control and variation estimates to reflect every project adjustmentProduce concise monthly status reports highlighting cost positions, risks and contingency needsWork with supply chain on requisitions, hire control and goods receipting to optimise spendSupport project close-out by reconciling purchase orders and delivering final margin reportingYou'll collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, using your commercial eye to mitigate risk and drive value at every stage.
