Job Description

  • Monitor and manage outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate with clients regarding overdue invoices and payment arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit control activities for the finance team.
  • Support the accounting and finance department with administrative tasks as required.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve payment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Control professional should have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or similar role within accounting and finance.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • An organised and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
