Job Description

  • Develop and maintain credit risk frameworks and policies in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor and report on the credit risk exposure of the organisation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Review and approve credit proposals within delegated authority levels.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit risk management.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on credit risk principles and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures within the financial services industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Risk Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of credit risk principles and regulatory frameworks.
  • Minimum 4 years experience analysing large corporate and/or FI Credit facilities.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present findings clearly.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in finance, risk management, or a related field.
