Job Description

  • Build and lead a new customer intelligence function to deliver ongoing, actionable insight
  • Shape data and reporting architecture to support scalable insight generation
  • Develop a pan-European customer insight approach combining behavioural, performance, and market data
  • Provide strategic and tactical insight to enhance targeting, journeys, and commercial outcomes
  • Define and refine detailed audience profiles and evolving customer needs
  • Map customer engagement journeys to identify friction points and growth opportunities
  • Establish performance measurement frameworks across multiple customer engagement platforms
  • Lead and optimise analyst resources for clear, efficient insight delivery
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, CX, Commercial, and Research teams
  • Manage third-party research partners including surveys, usability testing, and benchmarking



The Successful Applicant

Mandatory

  • 7+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in customer insight, marketing analytics, or commercial intelligence across European or multi-market environments
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into strategic and practical business guidance
  • Experience with digital performance analysis, CRM data, segmentation, and profiling
  • Commercially focused with a track record of linking insight to marketing investment and business impact
  • Knowledge of data architecture and scalable reporting environments
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for influencing senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable building new capabilities, shaping tools, frameworks, and team culture
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, IT, CX, Commercial, and Research teams
  • Experience managing or leading small insight teams to deliver maximum impact



Desirable

  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Salesforce Analytics and Power BI
  • Understanding of complex, high-consideration customer journeys
  • Experience launching new functions or capabilities in complex organisations
