This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining demand forecasts to support inventory planning and business decisions across UK and EU markets. It requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and experience in supply chain or demand planning - ideally within FMCG or retail sectors.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts across categories and channels, using data from sales trends, promotions, and seasonality.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing teams to integrate upcoming initiatives into forecasts.
  • Continuously monitor forecast accuracy and improve models using insights and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on demand plans, stock levels, and business targets.
  • Provide input into inventory and purchasing decisions, helping to manage stock availability and risk.
  • Maintain planning tools and dashboards, and deliver regular reporting on forecast performance and inventory health.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate would have:

  • Demand Planning experience or similar in an FMCG or retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proficiency in Excel and demand planning tools.
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
