Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the life sciences sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on client needs and project delivery.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms for the organisation.
  • Monitor and report on business development performance and progress.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director/Senior Director of Business Development should have:

  • Previous experience in business development within the life sciences industry ideally CMC and within CDMO
  • A strong understanding of the life sciences market and its dynamics.
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving targets.
