Executive Compensation Accountant

  • Prepare and manage accounting for executive compensation, including share-based payments and bonus accruals - IFRS 2.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data and insights.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements related to executive compensation.
  • Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors regarding compensation accounting matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations affecting executive compensation.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reports to senior management on compensation-related matters.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Banking & Financial ServicesA successful Executive Compensation Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Experience in financial services, with a focus on compensation accounting ideal but equally from Blue-Chip or Commerce & Industry works if have relevant exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 2.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
