Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Collaborate with operational, commercial, and supply chain teams to provide financial insight and drive decision-making
  • Deliver meaningful analysis of financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead and support the planning cycle, ensuring robust, data-driven budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Monitor cost drivers, challenge assumptions, and support initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives
  • Develop and deliver clear, actionable financial reports and dashboards for non-finance stakeholders
  • Evaluate business cases and capital expenditure proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial goals
  • Ensure financial controls are adhered to and support audit, risk, and compliance activities
  • Proactively identify process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects



The Successful Applicant

The successful Finance Business Partner should have some or all of the following:

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
  • Proven experience in a business partnering role within a complex or fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight
  • Confident working cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance teams
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and adding value
  • Comfortable handling ambiguity and supporting change in a growing or evolving business
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus
  • Working towards qualification(e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
