They are committed to delivering value-driven services and fostering a supportive working environment.Job DescriptionWorking within the Finance Department, the Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in the ongoing performance of their specific budget areas.These are high profile areas with significant spend and you will work strategically with Stakeholders to ensure Budgets are met and enhance future cost saving initiatives.The Finance Business Partner will work closely and will provide financial expertise and insight to stakeholders and allocated business areas. Although part of the Finance team, the role will be embedded and will work closely within the business units in order to ensure that it has excellent business knowledge in order to be able to inform and influence decision making. The role will be responsible for;1. Oversee and challenge the budget, financial performance and forecast of allocated Budget areas.2. Line manage of a small team.3. Present the budget and monthly financial performance at a Director level, highlighting and supporting with areas of risks and opportunities. Presenting at the highest level to CFO and other Directors.4. Be the main finance point of contact for stakeholders. Having sufficient knowledge to provide financial support for all key business activity.5. Develop and present a robust financial business cases and investment appraisals.6. Undertake financial due diligence for new and existing partners7. Provide relevant analysis of financial performance at business activity level annually or an ad-hoc basis.8. Development and enhance a consistent suite of financial information for budget holders, developing and enhancing KPI's to inform strategic decision making.9. Work closely with stakeholders to influence and drive financial recommendations relating to the business area.10. Advise Directors and the CFO relating to all financial matters including affordability of spend for staff and non-staff costs through tenders and various panels.11. Develop a culture of continuous improvement through the provision of a strong business support framework with Corporate Departments.12. Lead and support financial projects on ad-hoc basis13. Any other duties as determined from time to time by the post holders line manager.
