Job Description

  • Develop and implement compliance and risk management frameworks across the organisation.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements within this sector.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on risk-related matters.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of compliance training programmes for staff.
  • Manage internal audits and coordinate with external auditors where necessary.
  • Prepare detailed reports on compliance and risk performance for the board.
  • Lead a team to drive a culture of compliance and accountability across departments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Head of Compliance & Risk should have:

  • Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management principles, ideally within a similar industry but our client is flexible.
  • Proven ability to implement and oversee regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
  • Leadership capabilities to manage and inspire a team effectively.
  • Professional qualifications in compliance, risk management, or a related field are advantageous.
