Head of Operations

Manage the end-to-end Operations function: involving key areas like Procurement, Supplier management, Supply/Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Logistics.

Institute and maintain planning systems to control both raw material purchases and production output.

Maintain accuracy of stock record keeping, rotation and picking disciplines to minimise stock losses.

Provide costings for both made in house and brought in products, track variances and drive improvements.

Support inbound transport and customer delivery schedules to reduce cost and maximise efficiency and customer service.

Order raw materials and finished goods in line with sales and production forecasts.

Evaluate the introduction of software into the company and develop existing systems that maximise customer service and productivity and maintain business effectiveness.
