The Interim HR Advisor will provide vital support in delivering HR services within a not-for-profit organisation. This temporary role in Leeds offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in HR while contributing to meaningful initiatives.

Job Description

  • Provide expert guidance on HR policies and procedures to support organisational objectives.
  • Manage employee relations cases (including upto tribunal), ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Advise managers on performance management and development strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational standards.
  • Provide support and advice during organisational changes and restructuring processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will be available to start ASAP and should have:

  • Experience in a similar HR advisory role within the not-for-profit sector or comparable organisations.
  • A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in managing employee relations and providing strategic HR advice.
  • Tribunal experience would be ideal.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
