Job Description

  • Full P&L management of national accounts within the German market, ensuring strong client relationships.
  • Lead on joint business plans, including negotiations, promotions and category initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to maximise sales growth and market share.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure products are merchandised well in store.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting to deliver on agreed budgets.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Contribute to the overall sales strategy within the FMCG industry.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience managing national German retailers (preferably drugstores i.e. Rossman, DM, Muller, but also open to grocery)
  • A background in FMCG.
  • Business level German preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the German market and its consumer landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.
  • Dynamic, able to work in small, fast-paced teams
  • Proficiency in using sales and CRM tools to manage accounts effectively
  • Initially a remote role, but plans to open a London office so must be able to commute to London.
  • Able to travel to Germany at least once a quarter.
