Job Description

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies for IT services and products
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Oversee supply chain processes and implement operational improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT procurement manager should have:

  • A solid understanding of IT procurement processes
  • Proven negotiation skills with IT vendors
  • Experience in collecting and analysing data
  • Strong leadership capabilities and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or related experience/field
