Job Description

As Management Accountant, you'll:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
  • Deliver clear financial commentary and business insights
  • Perform detailed payroll analysis and variance reporting
  • Maintain weekly cash flow forecasts
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and key balance sheets
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and business planning cycles
  • Ensure VAT, IOSS, and regulatory compliance across UK, Ireland & Belgium
  • Support audits and contribute to internal control improvements
  • Drive process and systems enhancement projects
  • Collaborate with wider finance and business teams on ad hoc tasks

The Successful Applicant

To thrive in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Bring solid experience with UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Have excellent Excel skills (data modelling a plus)
  • Know your way around ERP systems (Unit4 is a bonus)
  • Be confident with VAT and tax compliance
  • Communicate clearly and think analytically
  • Be detail-focused and deadline-driven
  • Enjoy improving processes and working cross-functionally
