The client is looking for Product Development professionals who are passionate about innovation, from concept to launch, within the food industry.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and develop new products from concept to launch.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and gaps in the FMCG market.
  • Develop and refine product formulations to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with suppliers to source ingredients and materials aligned with product specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards throughout the product development process.
  • Prepare and manage project timelines, budgets, and reports to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide technical support to the production team during product trials and initial manufacturing runs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within Engineering & Manufacturing.

The Successful Applicant

A successful New Product Developer should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in product development within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality and safety standards within Engineering & Manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in market trends and consumer needs.
