Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate reporting and cost control.
  • Oversee reconciliations of key accounts and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to improve overall business performance.
  • Support the finance team with year-end audit preparation and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in streamlining financial processes and improving reporting systems.
  • Communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders to drive understanding and action.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and ensure adherence to policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part-Time Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong background in management accounting within the FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence in presenting financial data to stakeholders.
  • An organised approach to managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
