Job Description

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular cost analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Assess project progress and recommend cost-saving measures where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to meet deadlines.
  • Manage risk and resolve any financial discrepancies during the project lifecycle.
  • Provide professional advice on commercial and contractual matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience working on construction projects within the property services or maintenance sectors.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software for budgeting and reporting.
  • A thorough understanding of construction contracts and legislation.
  • Great communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
