Job Description

  • Design and implement security architecture across the full AWS stack.
  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Build custom security tools and automation scripts using Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • Integrate AI and machine learning into threat detection and response workflows.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and data teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to real-time security incidents.
  • Continuously assess and improve security posture using analytics and threat intelligence.

The Successful Applicant

  • Prior experience in high performance financial environments such as hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, or other advanced data-driven investment companies.
  • Deep hands on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, etc.).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar.
  • Proven background in penetration testing and ethical hacking.
  • Familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, and custom built security solutions.
  • Passion for learning and applying AI in cybersecurity.
  • Self starter with a hands on mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to be fully based in Abu Dhabi.
