We are seeking a passionate and innovative Senior Designer with a focus on jersey and woven Girlswear to join an expanding team at a reputable supplier. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and fashionable designs that resonate with their highly successful retail customers.

Job Description

  • Creating and implementing original designs for their Girlswear range.
  • Research and development trips to the Far East and Europe.
  • Collaborating with the wider design team to ensure consistency across all product lines.
  • Interpreting fashion trends and applying them to designs.
  • Presenting design ideas to senior management and retail buyers.
  • Working closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and within budget.
  • Regularly reviewing product sales to inform future designs.
  • Ensuring all designs adhere to company standards and brand image.
  • Conducting market research to better understand our customers' needs.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Designer - Girlswear should have:

  • A degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Experience desgining jersey and woven girlswear.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and a keen eye for fashion trends.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management abilities.
