This is a fantastic role for someone who has just graduated university wanting to get their foot in the door with a permanent finance role, where they can learn and grow into a development role with study support towards AAT, CIMA, ACCA, CIPD. Starting salary between £28k to £30k and then reviewed after 12 months.

About Our Client

Our client is a FMCG business in Newton le Willows with a medium sized finance team, having gone through a new acquisition they are increasing a couple of their finance departments on a permanent full time basis.

Job Description



  • Work closely with the Commercial Finance team to analyse performance, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights


  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes


  • Build and maintain financial models to support commercial initiatives


  • Partner with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, and operations


  • Support senior analysts and finance managers in preparing business cases and presenting key financial data


  • Learn to translate complex data into clear, concise reports and recommendations



The Successful Applicant



  • A graduate (or final-year student) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline


  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail


  • Confident with Excel and an interest in learning financial systems and tools


  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally


  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges


  • Proactive, motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
