Job Description

  • Manage daily cleaning operations, ensuring all areas meet established cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise and support cleaning staff, including scheduling and performance management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain service quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address specific cleaning requirements or special events.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the cleaning team to enhance skills and efficiency.
  • Prepare reports on cleaning operations and performance for senior management review.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Deputy Cleaning Manager should have:

Must Speak Spanish

  • Experience in facilities management or a related field, particularly within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
