Job Description

  • Manage and grow relationships with national GROCERY accounts to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders within accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Track and report on account performance, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to build brand awareness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager (Grocery) should have:

  • Proven experience in account management with Grocers, at least NAE level.
  • A strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
  • Joint Business Planning, Promotional Activity experience, too
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
